Where could you abandon one of these without its getting torn apart for the interesting electronics inside it? (wherever this place is, I don't ever want to go there, because the people there are terminally incurious.)

I did it last year, i found mine in a scrapyard.. it waited me for more than 20 yrs ! you won't regret that !
