Happy 60th Sis.....

My sister's 60th birthday bash was a big hit yesterday. Her house was decorated for both her bithday and the holidays. Scroll down to see some of her cute decor.....and ELVIS.....entertainer that I hired to surprise her.

Trap/Neuter/Release continues~

I don't mean to bore you with all these cat pics but am mainly uploading them for my "Woodland WA Cats" set. I went back today to check on male cat #1....he's fine.

I thought as long as I was there, I might as well trap another. [ See below]. This cat pictured here looks to be about six months old....and was meowing for some food I had brought.

FYI
My sister's "big b-day bash" is tomorrow....and with trapping cats, I haven't had time to go out and take pics. Hopefully, all will be back to normal after the weekend. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Pearl~

Yesterday we celebrated Pearl's six year anniversary since her cancer diagnosis. Six years ago we never thought she'd live another year, let alone six.

Although feeling her age at 19, and looking very thin & frail, she is doing well. We don't know how much longer we'll have her....but she will likely surprise us by living a lot longer.

Trap/Neuter/Release

Today I trapped cat #1 ...he's at the vet tonight and will have his plumbing removed tomorrow. After a couple days of rest he'll be taken back to his feline family.

Update: 12/3/09
He was returned to his "home" at 5:30 am.......now his hormones will dissipate and he won't be impregnating the poor female cats in this colony any more. I noticed there are at least four more males to trap.

Happy December!

It's been raining mushrooms here. But we're in a dry cold snap now.....it's suppose to really dip low this weekend.

My sister is celebrating her 60th birthday Saturday. I'm suppose to be helping with preparations...but am on flickr instead. So, the remainder of this week my time here will be very limited.

I love December with the coming Christmas holiday. But it's a busy time too.
