It's not truly an escape if you're carrying extra baggage. Minimize what you need and take a weight off your shoulders. For peace of mind, Pack Light.

Not bad! Dump the overweight Mac, add a 12-inch laptop (bigger than a netbook) and ... MOST importantly ... an ATM card. It's magic. Money comes out of slots in the walls.

Maybe add a second pair of long pants. Monsoon can be messy, and laundries can be SLOW.

Was wondering whether you know any 'old cameras repair shops' in Bangkok

a few years back a friend of mine took several old cameras to a shop called 'T.K. Camera Repair' located in Sukhumvit soi 8. However, when my friend went to collect the cameras he couldn't find the shop......as the shop had relocated elsewhere......

....since then my friend and I have been going around Bangkok from time to time, dropping by any old camera repairers in order to trace down the T.K Camera Repair shop owner/staff

I was wondering how much that all weighed? I'm keen to do something similar but all airlines have a carry on weight restriction from my country (7 kgs).
