One of those evenings, just after the rains (always the best of colors pop after the rains).
Probably the most amazing sunset I have ever seen - by far, so far yet. Those 3 minutes before the sun went down, and 3 - 5 minutes after the sun went are always the best periods to shoot.
The colors and tones you see here are exactly as I saw them and reproduced to what I saw. Hence not the HDR'ish treatment here. No filters or grads used - h/w nor s/w.
Progressive Stage Blending for the sky. 2 tone mapped images blended together. spacing of I think 5 minutes. The water is from a single exposure RAW - wider aperture, quick shutter - for the ripples. The waves over the rock is from a single exposure around the same time as the other quick exposure, but longer exp.
