Tianguis![]() What a Tianguis is?
Well, the word means "Every week", and it was in the Aztec Culture one of the most impresive and interesting Economic systems. People of the outskirts of the center came every week to offer his products (animals, food, Clothes, gold, art, etc, weapons, etc.) to the citizens of the center. The gathering was on the principal Square of the city... That tradition lasts now, only change the place... mostly in Mexico City, every zip Code has Its own Tianguis, they use a common street (popular mostly), to sell products, toys, food, fruits, vegetables, etc. These Tianguis are not the same in every place, some are pretty big, 3 km or 4 km, just for mention an example. This Place it's wonderful, full of items, full of smells, colors and a big touch of mexican attitude... CommentsEmerald2810
