The Zebra Longwing or Zebra Heliconian (Heliconius charithonia) is a species of butterfly belonging to the subfamily Heliconiinae of the Nymphalidae. It was declared the official butterfly for the state of Florida in the United States in 1996. I did not know !

Been today to Circle B Bar for my friend Klaus Peter Memorial Photowalk. Missed the tribute and the group shot but was wonderful to meet a lot of friends out there. I also got a shot of this green fellow there
