Are you a member of the DEC?
I wanted to go, just couldn't find a way to tie this guy in with what I do.

I'm an Obama supporter so I requested press credentials. It was a great experience even though his speech was very business- and policy-oriented so it wasn't as moving and passionate as he can be on the podium. I was hoping for an interview too but they gave me a rain check.

At least the secret service agent who frisked me was cute. And she seemed way younger than me too!

    4. jenny murray (58 months ago | reply)

Huh, I didn't even know he was here!

    5. Auberon__ (58 months ago | reply)

You'd be surprised who in the crowd is secret service... I work with someone who's a former agent...no way would you ever tag her as SS, but more than likely, she'd kick major A** if she had to.

      I too support Obama...

Aaron, I appreciate your opinion and believe that John McCain must have some sort of plan... we just never got to hear about it because he spent 100% of his advertising and stump speeches talking about Barack Obama.

McCain doesn't celebrate the American Dream with his plan for jobs. He thinks NAFTA works, but if you ever make a trip up here to the Motor City, you'll see how its potential was oversold to the American people. It did not create the jobs and wealth that were promised - it sent our jobs to Mexico, Canada and overseas. Obama is also ending tax cuts for companies that ship jobs overseas and he will use that money to cut taxes for small businessed and companies that create jobs in America.

You must be rich to favor McCain's tax plan because he certainly isn't giving any relief to those who need it most. Obama's plan cuts taxes for 95% of workers and their families. For the highest 5%? He asks them to give back part of their Bush tax cut. As far as most of us in the middle class (earning $30-70,000), McCain gives us a $325 tax break while Obama gives us $1,118.

For more reasons you should vote for Obama, go to www.radiospike.com

    46. Buzz Click Photography (40 months ago | reply)

      aww, bummer.

Every time I think I can have an intellectual conversation with a McCain supporter on this thread, they turn ugly on me.

By the time I replied to his note here, he had written some nasty, hateful things regarding Obama on some of my other photo pages. So I had no choice but to block him, which deletes all of his posts.

Sorry you didn't get to read his original post, but you weren't missing much. Like so many others, he offered empty talking points and little logic and reason.
