The Red Planet amongst the High Clouds

The Red Planet amongst the High Clouds

Mars was photographed among some thin, high cirrus clouds on the evening of February 23, 2012. I really like the diffusion effect that can be generated by faint cirrus clouds. The diffusion and "bloated" stars really make the colors pop!
