Gentlemen
We have on this Expedition tried several different rations. Among the ingredients of them are four different sorts of pemmican (two American, one English, one Norwegian). There have been no exact tests of the laboratory type, but my personal feeling is that I prefer a ration where Malted Milk takes the place of pemmican, with some form of fat added and with biscuit or some serial to give bulk.

We appreciate especially the manner in which Horlick's Malted Milk is packed for sled use.
