I've seen the phrase "Ask a Librarian" used in numerous places, like on a website or even at a service desk. This is the first time I've seen a phone.

Was that phone INSIDE the building? If it is, unless that phone is amplified on the other end, I guess the Denver, CO Public Library doesn't take "Silence Is Golden" that seriously. Our library in Bucks County, PA has positioned signs all over the place, telling you to manage your cell phone calls OUTSIDE.

Actually, I think this is a great approach to adding another customer service point. Phones like these are all over retail establishments and customers are familiar with the idea that at Target, for example, you can grab a phone and ask a question or check the stock room if you don't see an employee nearby. Why not at libraries?
