Soggy wet bee

Soggy wet bee by nutmeg66.
I popped out into the garden this afternoon, during a break in the rain, and saw this poor bee, drenched and unable to move from the comfrey flower.

Handheld, natural light.

This is brilliant Rachel. Very much like my wet bee but yours is the better picture. Your bee is much bigger and very much wetter than mine...LOL You have the most amazing bubbles of water on the bee. Incredible shot. I am sure he moved on once he dried off.

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

Great macro - seems the new camera is fairing you well :) - the super macro mode on the Canon compacts is most impressive, even on the A420 I have, so I'm sure it's been improved on your model.

( and yup, I am enjoying my new lens )
