While doing research into the .iq websphere I was reminded of Jodi's work %WrongBrowser. In this work Jodi plays with a paradox. The internet as on the one hand unbound and on the other hand bordered by national domain names like .nl, .co.uk, and .iq.
Jodi showed this paradox by locking the user up within one of these domains.

Browsing the Iraqi web within its domain boundaries (.iq) gives a telling image of the state of the Iraqi websphere.
