Sunrise after the storm, July 7th, 5:00 a.m.

The flooded Red River at St. Norbert, Manitoba, immediately south of the city of Winnipeg, July 7, 2005. The storms triggered several tornadoes in North Dakota and Manitoba. I entered this photo in the 2005 Picture Winnipeg contest, where it was selected as a semi-finalist, but no win, alas :-(
