Monumento Carlos III
"El mayor atractivo de la Plazuela España lo constituye la fuente de Carlos III. Este monumento fue erigido en memoria del Rey Carlos III de España. La fuente en un principio fue colocada sobre el Parque Central de la ciudad, frente al Palacio Nacional. Su traslado hacia la Plazuela España fue en 1929. El diseño del monumento estuvo a cargo del Arquitecto Antonio Bernasconi. Originalmente, la fuente estaba compuesta por delfines, caballos, emblemas de la monarquía española y una estatua ecuestre de Carlos III. La estatua y los emblemas ya no existen, ya que fueron destruidos en la epoca de la Independencia..." fuente: yahoo viajes
