How to fly Standby without dying in the attempt

I was attempting to fly to Miami in easter time (standby)... It was hard! but finally I'm in home! :P.. I know! this is black humor!

Oye te cuento que a mí me pasó lo mismo en mi viaje a Colombia en Avianca, solo que esa aerolínea de mierda nos secuestró =S y a la final estuvo bueno todo el relajo que armamos porque nos regalaron un pasaje...! =) pero aun así es feo eso de que te hagan esperar y nunk llegar a casita...!
