    Perigee moon rising. Taken from Chelsea Bridge, London, on the eve of Spring equinox.
    2 exposures handheld @300mm, 2secs apart -f7.1, 0.3sec iso500 and f5.6, 1/13sec iso100.

      Is that using the latest PhotoShop? That lets you expose one for highlights and one for shadow and then automatically combine them? If so I'm very tempted to upgrade from my CS4!

      Thanks.Yes, the moon was really that colour when it started to rise. Now that it is higher in the sky the moon looks much paler, almost white.

      Yes, it is the latest photoshop but I combined them manually. I've not heard anything about this automatic function but I'll look into it!

      Thanks. The last couple astronomical events (meteor shower and lunar eclipse) were ruined by cloud so getting such a clear sky this evening was a relief. Fingers crossed for you too!:)
