King of Capers creek

it was very cloudy while I was kayaking so the shot not to good but wanted to share South Carolina's Winter Eagle. I have a nesting pair near by. But have not found their nest, which can weigh up to 1 ton, Believe that! They are an awesome bird. Great Horned Owls (which also nest very close to my yard) have been know to kill Bald Eagles. Their only threat besides man around here. Eagles around here are smaller then those on the west coast
