4 pairds of Red Tailed Black Cockatoos were feeding in the Cape Lilac tree across te road from our ouse today. These birds www.naturebase.net/content/view/2384/482/ are on the endangered list and I wasn't aware that they were still living within the metro area. I thought I'd seen some in our area a few weeks back and here I have the evidence that they do. They are a large cockatoo about half a metre in length with a large powerful bill and distinctive markings.
