well, more and more site does offer to print in 3D nowadays.
I could see www.d3dprint.com/index.php?lang=en offering this service for multiple games, I could see www.fabjectory.com/ 3D modeling avatars from second life and wii.
Personnaly, I did test d3dprint and the results are quite amazing
