Another "Re inspired" edit on an older shot. I brought out the milky way a bit more in my newer processing. Enjoy!
"Wilderness. The word itself is music" - Ed Abbey
The stars were incredible on my trip to the desert. This one is actually from up in the mountains about 25 miles from the Oregon border, in Idaho. The night I took this I pulled an all nighter listening to pink floyd, enjoying a nice fire. It was also about 30 degrees :) That was one thing I really enjoyed about my trip east. During the day it would be 70-100 degrees out (depending), and at night it would cool down really fast. The day I took my last shot, it turned out to be 97 degrees, and then the nights I stayed up in the mountains cooled down to below freezing, and my sleeping bag froze over in the mornings. I had big plans to shoot all over the place this night, but instead I stayed near camp. I loved the way the mahogany tree worked with the extremely bright milky way. Thoughts, critiques and comments appreciated. Enjoy!
