I went outside and
layed in the snow forever.
it started getting enjoyable when
my body rocked with shivers
and
my limbs fell numb
and I couldnt feel a thing.
I swirled my frilly skirt
in my purple fingers
I couldn't feel the rough
fabric.
Brush my finger tips as they turned
bright red.
I looked upwards
at my cloudy breath
and imagined pictures in it.
Floating far away
Smiling against the blue
blue sky.
My tights covered in
the majority of holes so
My skin mostly peeked through.
They gathered snow and turned my knees
rough and dry.
My bare feet slid
In the white ice and
I tried to stand but
fell. Because my toes were numb
it felt like walking on nothing.
I froze outside
and mentally
But I sort of wish my heart froze, too.
