Strangely, it was sent in Flanders, to Hove-Brighton in England, yet written in French.
The address was Rochester House. Sounds so very grand. Maybe it's Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre? :-)
Actually, what was written was to a mother, in a lovely childish pen and ink handwriting:
I would love to give you a big kiss and a very big hug. Your little Renée."
I love that dog, by the way.
