Fourth of July fireworks from the Pismo Beach pier. Digital lesson: Use the "bulb" setting for the shutter speed when photographing fireworks. Trip the shutter open when the fireworks fires and trip off when the shot is fully open and the bright trails are falling or when you have multiple fireworks as in this shot.
