Something took out my bird feeder this morning. My neighbor's is down too. There are a couple of big crows flying about and so I suspect them.

Since I went to Lowes this afternoon to attempt to order a new door to go between my garage and my breezeway/dining room, I picked up a new one. This one's kind of spiffy with it's two levels.

Hopefully this one will stand up to the dangers of the neighborhood birds. I've now lost two bird feeders in six months to mysterious causes -- this time it happened literally while I was turned away from the window for 10 minutes.

As for the door...apparently there are all kinds of building codes I didn't know about. Apparently you have to put a fire door between the garage and the rest of the house (currently there's just a storm door) and those have to be specially ordered and Lowes apparently doesn't install fire doors. Dizzyingly frustrating.
