Dinner For Two

This was taken with my new Canon PowerShot S3 IS through my picture window. I used to have to stand in the yard about a foot from the bird feeder to get this kind of shot and it still wouldn't be this sharp.

According to my Smithsonian Handook Birds of New England, these appear to be Chipping Sparrows. I've never been able to get a close enough look at the markings on their wings and heads before to tell before.

I'm so pleased with this camera.
