Incisions

Incisions by puggirl365.
Here's what my stomach looked like the day after surgery. It was swelled up and I was incredibly bloated. I felt like I was carrying twins or something, though they'd taken out a part of me -- which the surgeon said was really inflamed. There's actually a third incision on my right side there...and that big patch is my belly button, where they pulled my whole gallbladder out of. *shudder*

its amazing how the hell they do that! - my brother had it done about 3 mos. ago, and was back running around in very very short time - his stomach looked a bit funnier as they shaved half of it!

My entire right side has been hurting since from my hip to my neck. My mother finally came up with an explanation -- everything is sagging down into the hole where my gallbadder was so since the right side is unsupported, it's all aching. Now, of course, I'm all self-conscious that my right side is lower than my left. :P

Hopefully your brother came out of it all well and without any new OCDs or anxieties he needs to go to therapy for.

The pain is actually from the C02 they pump into you to inflate your abdomen to see around inside. I hurt for about 3 days with intense pain in my abdomen but all the way up into my shoulders and throat/neck.
It should go away in a day or two.
However, not to depress you but I still have phantom gall bladder pains 3 years after having mine out.
