Hello There!

Photo taken at the Asker outdoor rink, Norway.
When I got tired of skating I took off my skates and decided to take a few shots around. Then I thought it could be fun to try some macro shots of the skates on the ice... But it was only after I downloaded the photos to my PC that I noticed that that guy had got in the picture too! :-))

It reminds me of my skating days. I grew up in Colorado, USA. The winters were very cold, so we had wonderful skating. We had to walk through a wheatfield for about 1-1/2 miles to get to the lake where we skated, but we didn't care. It was SO fun! Thanks for the memory jog.

I was actually much more into quad Artistic Skating rather than ice skating. But now that I'm here I might as well try my hand at it ;-) Not my favourite though.
