Stick Pile

When walking along the trail, I pick up the sticks and twigs and pile them up here. When the pile gets too high, I start another one. One of my original stick piles has completely decomposed, leaving only a mound of soft sand.

I'm glad I got these woods pictures when I did. There's so much snow out there now, it may be over a week, before I could even get near here.

Another Pine Tree

This one has fallen over from the weight of the snow. Look closely and you'll see it has an almost animal appearance.

Pine Sapling

We've gotten a lot more snow since this morning. This is possibly buried by now.

I turned up the saturation of the needles to give the sparkly Christmas effect, while toning down on the snow.
