Computer setups trough the years

LC 475 as main computer and a plain old LC as a BBS with 8 modems.
Powermac 7200 at Apple Assistance Center
Added a Performa 5300 to the Powermac 7200
PowerMac 8500AV, here used by an old friend who is no longer with us and dearly missed.
Bondi Blue iMac, bought on the day of the launch, still have it.
G3 Desktop at Apple UK
Lots of compacts and a HUGE server 9150 that sounds like a jet taking off.
Apple Lisa
Graphite Powermac G4 400mhz
Added an IBM thinkpad to the G4
The IBM Thinkpad at home with the compacts
Bondi Blue iMac again.
G4 is now at home together with a Tangerine iBook.
G3 Powermac at work with personal iBook
G4 in a new computer desk
400mhz iMac, salvaged from work.
Apple Cube, upgraded to the max
12" Powerbook
Little Sony picturebook so I could play with Windows. Loved the Picturebook, hated Windows
G4 Cube now moved upstair and added an XBOX for gaming.
G4 Cube in the new house, now on the TV/monitor thing that I previously used on the XBOX
Swapped the Cube for a Mac Mini, more power, 1/4th the size.
Tired of poorly build Mac's in the wrong colours (not black) so moved to IBM with Linux, really really liked it.
Black, camera build in, Intel cpu so able to run Windows, Mac and Linux at easy, how could I refuse?
Yes I have very large flappy ears.

I'm cleaning out my iPhoto library because it does not like 14000 photos and I also wanted to archive the photos on DVD's (3 copies of each set). While doing so I created this set of computer setups I have used and took photos off.

Funny that this is my most popular photo, why?

Superb sir! If all my old systems weren't all packed away in my loft I'd do something similar - It'd be a bit more platform wide though.

Those are some pretty nice setups. I've only recently started to make the switch (just got a new intel-powered iMac) and I really wish that I would have done it sooner.

Random Reality:
Please not that these setups are over a period of 15 years. I no longer have most of the systems.

Photosynthetique:
Welcome to the fold. An Intel Mac really does give you best of both worlds. Why limit yourself to only Windows if you can have a PC that does both?

Just looks, I'm a geek all the way trough.

Robert:
It was almost the fastest non PPC machine Apple build, especialy if you swapped the stock 68lc40 for a full 68040, which I did of course.

It was very cute, I sold it as I needed cash at the time, seriously regret it as it's just sooo cute. Comepletly useless but cute. If I can ever get one again for little cash I will.

Yes, bliss indeed.

I'm an admin for a group called Apple Hardware for Fans, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.
I'm trying to create an e-museum for fans and to let the younger generation know there were macs before the iPod.
