What I'm Reading: Dogs Bite But Ballons And Slippers Are More Dangerous by Janis Bradley

What I'm Reading: Dogs Bite But Ballons And Slippers Are More Dangerous by Janis Bradley by puck90.
Your chances of being killed by a dog are roughly 1 in 18 million. The supposed epidemic of dog bites are exaggerated by the media and based on dubious research. Lawmakers, litigators and insurers are profiting by making you afraid of dogs. Yet dogs enhance the lives of millions by improving our health and lowering our stress.

Cats are good, too. And the epidemic of cat bites and scratches continues unreported.

Seriously, though. Nomally, dogs don't bite anyone unless they are provoked by the bitee, commanded to do so by their owners, or in a lot of pain.

true bret, and the vast majority of bites require nothing more than a bandaid but they still considered part of the "epidemic" of dog bites.
