Right now there is an overload of pets that need homes. Because of the Mortgage crisis many people are having to give up their pets.

If you are thinking about getting a pet - please get one from a shelter or rescue organization. These animals really need homes and the longer they are in the shelter the less likely they are to get adopted.

All of these wonderful dogs and cats are available for adoption at the Los Angeles East Valley Animal Shelter.....go get one....or two

This weekend all the LA Shelters are have a reduced fee adoption event The shelters are overloaded due to the mortgage crisis and kitten season. $43 for dogs $28 for cats

smoooches! what a face. i hadn't thought about pet problems due to the mortgage crisis there. here NO ONE will rent to pets, so many are given up when the owners have to move because they can't find accommodation.
