SpinRite working it's magic. It's a lovely program that has prevented data loss on a number of occasions. I got hold of a dodgy copy when I needed it in an emergency some time back and it worked so well we bought a site licence for it at work. There have been a few times when you think it's a case of formatting a disk and starting again because you can't boot a machine that have been avoided thanks to this.

	publicenergy says: I couldn't access my drives for music, photos and documents (all on the same disk) - Spinrite sorted it out though which was very nice of it :) It actually recovered something on my other internal hard disk as well that I thought was ok - just goes to show! hehe.
