Notice the green cane and the berries which are ripening now (late August). These indicate a first year cane.

Second Year Cane (dying off)

If you look at the tip of this cane, it is changing to a greyish color. By next spring it will be all grey and ready to be pruned down. It is done bearing fruit.

Peaches

My first time canning peaches. They are in a light syrup and to my delight, every single jar sealed properly. I had 9 jars total, but gave two away so far.

Garden Bounty

This is what is currently residing on my kitchen table. It is mostly Brandywine and Early Girl tomatoes with two Arkansas Travelers and one Mr. Stripey.

Also my two Chantenay carrots, which I am very pleased with.
