Well I think it was a Trailblazer, but to be honest it's hard to tell. (In fact it's a Grand Cherokee, see comment from Mazda6 below)

It was really foggy this morning, so some kind of roadside chaos was to be expected, but this one is pretty fearsome. Bad, bad Milt drove past taking photos, which is a big no-no, not to mention ghoulish. Still, at least I didn't stop in the middle of the road and have to be chased off by the cops, like some of the other clowns.

Yes, with the roof squashed down like that it's hard to imagine coming out of there without injury. Even worse, it seems to have had someone smash into its side and fling it through the crash barrier onto its roof - you can see the smashed barrier in the prev. photo. So, probably it was someone just minding their own business until some loon smashed into them. That really creeps me out - these demented lane-swervers can kill you even if you're driving safely.

Actually its a Grand Cherokee. Look at the wheels. I think I am right. Also the grill is (far left) is the typical Jeep grill.

You're right, my neighbour's Grand Cherokee has the same wheels. And that's definitely no Trailblazer grille. I've changed the title accordingly!

My dad worked in Saudi in the eighties. He told me that the crash rate over there was monumentally high becasue the driving standards are even lower than they are here in california (if you could imagine such a thing).
