I was born in Pickering and am pretty sure
that I was at the first Traction Engine Rally
ever to be held in the town a long time ago.
It is fascinating to see how big it has grown
since then and this great picture brings back
many happy memories of the early days.
Needless to say, I'm adding it to my
favourities!
Deep, moody, full of atmosphere, a few lights
to liven the scene, a beautiful late evening
sky, detail in the heaviest shadows, and
those wonderful plumes of smoke add the
finishing touch, Michael.
