I suddenly found myself lost in a huuuuuge bookstore which used to be a theatre
I wish there was a place like this where I live.....

es impresionante, a mi me fascinó.. no solo el lugar, la atmósfera, la musica (clásica), la gente sentada leyendo durante horas, un cafecito donde podes leer lo que elijas.. es genial.

As far as I know, it´s the biggest bookstore in Latin America (or was it South America?).
I used to go there when it was a cinema (not many years ago). It´s a wonderful building, and, although the photo is really great it doesn´t do justice to it. Even the ceiling is beautiful!!

Las veces que fui a comprar libros al Ateneo de Santa Fe (libros más o menos específicos y no super publicitados) me mandaron a los 2 que están en la calle Florida. Un garrón. Este es el más lindo, es gigante, pero se ve que los de Florida aglomeran todo el stock, incluso me han mandado haya desde El Ateneo del Paseo Alcorta.
Qué bronca que me dió las veces que me pasó eso jaja
