With the end of summer, many North Africans are heading back to Europe. But
US and European officials are worried that the traffic across the
Mediterranean may include more than vacationing families returning from
summer holidays. Terrorist activity in North Africa has been on the rise
over the last year. Al Qaeda is reportedly active in the region as well.
