New Orleans May 2006

My visit home to New Orleans where I saw for the first time the carnage wrought by Katrina. 8 months later and the city is still a mess...most of these pictures are from the hardest hit areas, namely the 9th Ward and Lakeview, but 90% of the metropolitan area sustained damage, and 60% of the people still haven't returned.
