Self-serve fruit stand
Open, but not staffed, 24 hours a day. There's some sort of electric fence that keeps the bears away (the bears who, apparently, ate everything off the apple and pear trees here at the Lazy Meadow). You can get anything, pretty much, except cheese. The cheeses are locked up. No one knows why. We'll try to find out.

My sister says that there's a bit of a bear problem around her area with regard to fruit trees. In certain neighborhoods, they have to be vigilant about icking the fruit, or else the bears come for it. Then, all that fruit gets taken to the center of town where it's available to anyone FOR FREE. She's currently trying to figure out how to manage 30lb of apples, 10lb pears, and 20lb plums.
She's becoming quite a cannery.
