BBC has two RealMedia clips from the games on this page. In the first clip from the 1. leg of the final the commentator mentions my dad's name a couple of times as he plays the ball in the buildup of two of the goals. I love it.
The second clip shows the team collecting the cup on the pitch in Hungary.

    Tiny spelling error: Ujpest Dozsa (Uj = new, Pest = the eastern half of Budapest). Ujpest is the North-Eastern part of Budapest in fact.

    Very cool! Know him well. Nice one.
    My grandad played keeper for Swindon FC and four matches for Arsenal back in the 20's. His scrapbook is still in England, but I'd better get a hold of it soon and get it scanned in! :-)

    Yeah, I've often used that DBU link to confuse and intimidate co-workers before work footie tournaments. My dad and I share names. We're both called Preben (sigh).
    I thought my Dad was the first Danish professional in English football, but clearly not. Or is your grandad British ?

    Don't worry!!! My grandad and mum were English! Just like me! My dad is Danish but you're lucky he didn't play football... :-)
