The Photographic Resource Center
together with the Center for Theoretical
Physics at Massachusetts Institute of
Technology has established a joint
photographic exhibition program in the
CTP's new space at MIT. The first
exhibition in the program will feature
the work of John Chervinsky. The
exhibition, entitled The Conceptual
Still Lifes of John Chervinsky, will be
on display from September 2007 through
August 2008 at the CTP, on the third
floor of Building 6 at MIT at 77
Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge.
PRC member and photographer Robert
Jaffe initiated the joint PRC/MIT
project. Robert is the Morningstar
Professor of Physics and Mac Vicar
Faculty Fellow at the MIT Center for
Theoretical Physics. The new space,
which features a major installation by
Sol LeWitt and an exhibition of
photographs by Ansel Adams, was
dedicated on October 4, 2007. John
Chervinsky’s exhibition can be viewed
Monday through Friday during regular
