Going against conventional wisdom and cycling through a bunch of different avatars. For the most part it is an every once and awhile thing. But recently I have been doing it once a day or so.

The result? More conversation than I would have ever predicted came out of it. Mixed reviews, as avatars are clearly a polarizing topic. I consider them my t-shirt on Twitter. I won't continue to swap them out so frequently. But I will do more than simply put my ugly mug up there and leave it at that. Besides, my Twitter page http:\\twitter.com\prblog has my face on the background. Not everyone visits the actual pages of people, but it helps. 1 Pic = 5,000 characters
Now I used to work at NASA but I'm no rocket scientist... but my friends that are tell me 5,000 characters is more than 140 characters.
*assumption: 1,000 words (avg 5 characters per word)
