Mulching History

I've been saving newspapers for months to use for the paths in my garden. First I put down a layer of newspapers, wet those down, then add wood chip mulch.

I came across this edition today while working on my pathways. Some people might have saved this paper to commemorate such a significant event. I'm taking a certain satisfaction in using it to suppress weeds in my garden, especially in light of our new first family's own White House organic garden!
