The Brindabella Light Show

penetrates the clouds...amazing
The Brindabella Light Show by ~Prescott.
Tonight a large storm rolled through but skirted our house and continued up over the Brindabella Ranges. I usually take sunset shots out here, but when I saw the lightning out the front door I took the camera and ran to get some shots.

More to come after The West Wing :-)

Prescott, this is brilliant! I love the way the lightning cuts through that middle band of cloud. So well captured - never miss an opportunity :)
Again, I hope there was some rain with this.

Yep, I'm late again to comment but this is a top lightning shot -- my fave of them all. I'm interested to know if this was a single strike or if you waited to add up several?

Julian - can't remember exactly, but being nearly a minute in exposure I have a feeling it was several strikes.
