I think this is a Costa's Hummingbird (Calypte costae).

I noticed the humming birds like to sit on the string of Christmas lights up above their feeder, so when I took down the lights I added a few wire loops to the wire holding the feeder. They seem to like it and this little fellow posed for a good amount of photos.
