When I saw the preview, I thought the light
looked like a person. Nice work!

I may be over interpreting, but I see this
picture as very dark. First, the processing
is literally dark. The top of the tree has
been further darkened with vignette and seems
out of reach for the poor little light that
is sitting at the tree's feet, its light (is
it even on?) not making any difference.
High regards for something out of reach?

quadshotyarn... thank you.
Henry... sometimes too witty for my own
good!
Bruce... you know i love your reviews and i
love how you picked up on it. my take on the
photos is that the light is turned off and he
is gleaming up to the tree (who he aspires to
be, yet can never be) and at this point in
the story not even a fresh ray of light will
help brighten his day. i know that is like
zen-deep, but that is how i feel about this
photo when i look at it.
Lo0ker... thanks!
Jason... thanks, this one was the hardest
shot of the set to take and i was overly
critical on how it had to be framed, lit and
executed. there were many re-takes!
Mister Nis... you always told me to be
honest with my photography and i so knew you
would love this! i'm honored i could make
your day.
Pard'on... thanks!
Bruce... you know i'm blushing right! and i
have to add that i think "to date"
this is my favorite photo in my photostream.

Heehehehe! The little lamp, clearly a
relative of Luxo the Pixar lamp, is so in awe
of the pretty tree!
