EXAMS

happy new year!!
(no, i'm not gunna try another 365 like i did last year...... i'm not sure i can commit to that just quite yet hehe)

i took & edited this levitation photo last semester for a photography class that i'm taking. some of it is a little awkward (some of the lighting/shadows and stuff ... well... you know... editing... eh... ;D) but i'm pretty happy with the turnout, as it is after all, my first levitation photo. not sure what else i should be saying, i haven't been on flickr for a while now haha... school can be very time consuming at times ;p

hopefully i'll have many more photos that i'll upload throughout the year! see you!

what planet?

what planet?

hi.
it's been a long while.

i was literally away from flickr all summer... and my camera too, in fact... then school just got way too busy.
the good thing is, I'm taking digital photography as a class this year so hopefully I'll be able to upload some of the nicer ones on here (especially if I don't have time to take other photos in my own time).
I really, REALLY, missed you guys )': hahah it's not just uploading that I miss, but looking through my feed and seeing the coolest photos ever... so hopefully I'll be on flickr more often now that I've finally gotten back into the swing of a new school year (yes, it takes me 2 months into school to realize that I have a flickr life too)~~~

dark side of the moon

dark side of the moon

back to the square crop

BTL!!! i haven't been uploading anything to this group in aggesss D: but i'm gunna add this photo to the pool for the shadow theme i think 2 weeks ago? i guess it's just something i'm proud of and i want to share it with y'all (:

i pulled my first all nighter for this total lunar eclipse... this is the last shot i got before the clouds started the party of the century in the sky at around 2:30 am but at least i got some nice photos of the moon (which i've never done before) i think i'll upload another moon photo hehe
and yes i know the craters and valleys and everything else aren't as clear as they can be but my lens would only go up to 255mm - pretty good i would say (:
and i stayed up till 5 :30 am streaming the eclipse & commentary live from eclipse.slooh.com/ (it won't show you anything now cause the eclipse is over)

have a nice day x

words are a powerful drug

yet another photo from my paris trip, just rather heavily edited.
the words in the centre were inspired by this awesome photographer , his stuff is so so so inspiring!!
anyhow, this is the shakespeare & co. bookstore/library in paris, i absolutely loved it there, the cozy feeling and such

and sorry i haven't been on flickr for such a long time
kinda got busy then completely absolutely forgot about it
irresponsible of me i know, so sorry (:

stairway to heaven

stairway to heaven

this is was taking from the centre of the main stairway in the chateau de chambord. the cross is made up of the windows in case you didn't pick up on that yet :D it's kind of abstract at this angle but i like how it turned out (yes the colours aren't natural cause i purposely changed the wb to tungsten light when clearly it's supposed to be set at daylight)

anyhow~ i really liked the chateaus (castles, i don't speak french but you tend to pick up one or two words when you're travelling :) even though they got kind of repetitive towards the end, but still maybe expect a few other photos taken at the chateaus. yeah i'm kind of taking my time with the uploading, so that you won't feel spammed...
