Yes! My new bass arrived last week during the snowstorm, so I've been an eager student over the past ten days, learning lots of things like tuning and getting my fingers used to the differences between bass and my Takamine classical.

So far, this weekend has consisted of an anything-but-steady diet of The Breeders ("summer is read-eeeeee when you are!"), Stan Rogers, my homemade chicken soup and Jim Beam Red Stag so, needless to say, this somewhat strange pic was inevitable.
