When you're both astoundingly agile, and fast, a chase can be a difficult thing to extricate one's way out of.

However, there are other ways of departing the scene, as one participant demonstrated, staying perfectly still - and upside down, while the other ran back and forth on top.

And of course, there's got to be some jerk insisting on staring while you're trying to eat, even at midnight.

Whilst I'll admit freely this isn't the most exciting of my lapine photography, I'm feeling reasonably encouraged by the results. The next step, hopefully within a month or two, will be to obtain an IR flood, permitting autofocus to work (bear in mind this is under gentle outdoor lighting, far too dim for normal AF functioning), and a more powerful, offboard flash, such as the SB-900.

I do, of course, hope that as Spring comes around, I'll begin to be able to observe the local buns under daylight again - contrary to my previous locations, the locals here seem insistent on remaining all but unseen until nighttime.
