The Day We All Lived 5/25/08

I am eternally greatful to Buffalo's Bravest for saving the lives of my children and husband. There are no words to describe the devastation, horror, sadness and elation of the night we lost everything we had, except the one most important thing, each other. The Buffalo firefighters were true heros that night, rescuing us and toiling in the heat and smoke for hours until the fire was finally out, near dawn. When we thanked the Chief for getting us out, all he could say was "I thought we were too late". I will always remember that they were right on time.
